Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was born in France in 1883. He lost his mother at a young age, so he was sent to the Catholic Monastery with his sister to study. She learned to sew here.

One day in the monastery, a nun gave a cloth to embroider two swans on it. Gabrielle embroidered swans in her own style, but the nun found these embroideries ridiculous and said no one would take her seriously.

He left the monastery at the age of 18 and went to live with his brother in the city of Aubazine. Here he worked in a store where officer clothes were made during the day and sang at night.

Chanel, whose song was so popular, came off the stage and everyone applauded her, “Come on Coco, come on Coco!” she was shouting. Thus, Coco became her nickname.

Starting to design hats in 1908, Coco started selling the hats and clothes she designed in the shop she opened on the ground floor of an apartment building, and her designs were highly appreciated.

She enjoyed designing and sewing clothes and accessories for people, and she decided to move forward in this field.

After a while, thanks to Arthur Capel, the businessman she met, Coco Chanel, who opened a shop in Paris, entered the fashion world and the Chanel brand began to grow.

The allegations made for Chanel’s arrest were unfounded. He said that the reason for his lying with Winston Churchill and the Germans was to ensure the end of the war and to attempt peace. After her arrest, Coco Chanel was soon released, as her name was on the list of people whom the French and British military and political forces could trust at any time.
