“To believe that situations that did not occur in history will never happen is not to believe in human dignity.” -Mahatma Gandhi
Life is a storm and survivors are sure to be hit. Of course there will be times when we lose hope, the important thing is to find a way out and take care of yourself wherever you are.
1) Reassess the Situation
If we evaluate what has happened to us or the future negatively, most things will appear negative to us. We may need to reevaluate the situation before we lose our will. We should not underestimate our subconscious in this situation, so that when we look back, we realize our mistakes and find ourselves conditioned.
2) Don’t Lose Your Courage
They say believing is half the battle. The biggest test you will give when you fail from the beginning is your courage. Behind the strength that makes you get up when you fall is your courage. Instead of looking for courage in someone else, we must find the strength within ourselves.
“I learned that courage is not fearlessness, but overcoming fear. A brave man is not one who does not feel fear, but one who conquers his fear.”
3) Be Honest With Yourself
Being honest with yourself creates awareness. When you discover your awareness, your approach will change and you will be moving towards your goal with more solid steps. As long as you are honest, your pursuits will continue, and the things you hope for will happen. If you’re going to be hurt, be honest. Honesty will also bring trust.
Not everything we want in life can come true. This situation should not discourage us, on the contrary, it should persevere. Difficult times will come, and they will go as they come. Remember even if you have received blows, challenges will make you much stronger.
“It is necessary to overcome pride in successes, and to resist despair in disasters.” -Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-Mustafa Kemal Ataturk
