The iPhone was first introduced to the world by Steve Jobs in 2007. Having completed 12 years, the iPhone continues to leave its mark on the world since the first day it was introduced with the developing technology. Every year, a new iPhone model is introduced regularly, and I have brought together all the iPhone models released by Apple in these 12 years for you.

This iPhone model, which announced its 3G supported phone after the iPhone 2G, was the first iPhone model offered for sale in Turkey. Reaching 6.1 million sales in total, the iPhone 3G had a great success. It doubled the sales figures of the first released phone. With such a success, he managed to attract all the attention. Like the iPhone 2G, it had a screen width of 3.5 inches and a 2 mega pixel camera. Unlike 2G, the operating system and battery were developed.

This phone was the first iPhone model with a white color option for the first time. 

Apple’s 5. The 4S generation model emerged with the development of the 3G-3GS. In this phone, which did not bring many new features, some changes were made in the technical features of the device. Reaching 72.3 million sales figures, 4S was again a great success. It had a screen width of 3.5 inches and had an 8 megapixel camera. This was the last model released when Apple’s founder Steve Jobs was alive. 

The iPhone 5 was bigger, thinner and lighter than any model released so far. It was 18 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than the previous model. Reaching 125.1 million sales, the iPhone 5 became the first model to pass the 100 million sales threshold. It was the first iPhone model that offered LTE/4G support. It had a 4 inch screen width, 8 mega pixel camera. 

As in the iPhone “s” series, this phone, whose processor and camera features were developed, became the first smartphone with fingerprint “touch id” technology. A7 processor with 64-bit design was used for the first time. Two LED flashes were used on the phone, which has a 4-inch screen width and an 8-megapixel camera. 

The iPhone 5C, which was released at a more affordable price, was produced from polycarbonate and launched in 5 different color options. This phone, which has the same features as the iPhone 5, attracted attention as thicker and heavier. This model, which could not achieve the expected sales performance, was not a very successful model for Apple. 

The iPhone 6 was considered the biggest change ever made. This model, which increased the screen size for the second time, also attracted attention with its different case design. It was designed 0.7 mm thinner than previous models. It had a 4.7-inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera. For the first time, Apple released a model in the phablet segment with the 6S. From now on, for those who want to use bigger phones, Apple now has the table. This model, which was launched on the iPhone 6, was the largest phone up to that time. In addition, another prominent feature is that you can have your phone perform the action you want to do on the phone by recording your voice in the Hey Siri feature. Another important feature was its battery. It had a screen width of 5.5 inches and an 8-megapixel camera. These two models reached a total sales figure of 169.2 million.

Models that come with the 3D Touch feature also came to the fore with Ion-X screen protection. Announcing the live photos feature, Apple also introduced the motion photo feature. The 6S was launched with a screen width of 4.7 inches and the 6S Plus with a screen width of 5.5 inches. Unlike previous models, Apple started to use 2 GB of RAM in these models. These models, which have 12 megapixel cameras, had 231.2 million sales success.

The most important feature of this model, which uses a 4-core processor for the first time, is that it is the first water-resistant iPhone. These models, which have a 12-megapixel camera, have a larger lens and sensor than previous models. This series, which has a similar case design with the iPhone 6 models, has revised many of its hardware features with this model. It was touted as the world’s fastest phone for 2017.

Although the iPhone XR looks the same as the iPhone X from the front, it has a larger screen. It has a screen size of 6.1 inches and a 12 Megapixel camera. The most important detail that distinguishes the iPhone XR from other models is that it comes with a lot of color options. The iPhone XS appeared as an improved version of the X model. It has a 12 mega pixel camera with a screen width of 5.8 inches. The XS MAX has a screen width of 6.5 inches and its camera is the same as the XS. 

The iPhone 11 manages to attract attention with its dual rear cameras and Apple A13 Bionic processor. Thanks to its 6.1-inch IP68 certification, it can withstand water at a depth of 4 meters for 30 minutes. It hosts two 12 Megapixel sensors.
