TL;DR.<\/strong> On 9 October 2026, CEOtudent recorded the public prices of 5,594 unique Gumroad listings, sorted by number of ratings, plus the 300 titles on three Apple Books US top paid charts. Among paid listings priced in US dollars, the median template was listed at $7, the median ebook at $14.99 and the median course at $29. A large share of each category asks for nothing at all: 44% of the template listings, 35% of the ebooks and 20% of the courses had a $0 price or a $0 minimum. On Apple’s best-seller charts the median ebook price was $12.99, which is exactly the new ceiling of Amazon KDP’s 70% royalty band after it moved from $9.99 to $12.99 on 7 July 2026. These are listing prices, not transaction prices, and the samples favour popular products. The CEO move: choose the price and the channel together, because the same $14.99 ebook nets $12.26 through a direct Gumroad link and $5.25 on Kindle at the 35% royalty. The student move: rebuild the net-per-sale table below for your own product before you publish a price.<\/p>\n
