He was successful and was leading a regional sales team in the investment industry.<\/p>\n<p>But while he did his job as well as a salesperson, his responsibility as a team leader was high.<\/p>\n<p>His team was constantly falling behind its sales targets and was experiencing tension because of it.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\"><b>Oren&#8217;s Emotional Intelligence diagnosis:<\/b> a fatal weakness in managing conflicts and disagreements&nbsp; avoidance of difficult discussions and contentious conversations. <\/p>\n<p>Despite this avoidance, this&nbsp; there was <b>a blind spot<\/b> for the big problem. <span>That is, he lacked awareness, which is how simply preventing this conflict wasted itself.<\/span>&nbsp; <span>It meant not seeing what he had brought, which he was very surprised to have failed because of this blinding.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">She has read about Emotional Intelligence and attended a seminar on the subject, both of which help in understanding intellectual awareness and managing conflict. <span>But he puts this understanding into how he works with his team.<\/span>&nbsp; <span>could not connect and the same problems continued to occur.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Coaching-Helps-Create-Self-and-Social-Awareness\"><\/span>Coaching Helps Create Self and Social Awareness<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">Oren&#8217;s company says she started working with a coach.<\/p>\n<p>For six months, Oren and her coach focused on helping her develop.<\/p>\n<p>They started with a 360-degree assessment. This clearly showed that Oren lacked self-awareness and was incapable of managing conflict.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\"><span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"tr\"><span>Coach required Oren to keep a diary to jot down important moments, especially when she had to deal with disagreements.<\/span> <span>He and his coach&#8217;s role showed how to intervene to resolve conflicts in ways that are mutually beneficial.<\/span> <span>Coach &#8220;in real life&#8221;<\/span>&nbsp; <span>watched his actions<\/span>&nbsp; <span>and that way gave more feedback.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"trans-verified-button goog-toolbar-button\" id=\"t-served-community-button\" role=\"button\" aria-hidden=\"true\" style=\"display: none; -ms-user-select: none;\"><span class=\"jfk-button-img\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\"><span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"tr\"><span>Slowly, Oren became less anxious and less worried about the conflict.<\/span>&nbsp; <span>became timid and his team&#8217;s win-win decisions<\/span>&nbsp; <span>He became more adept at helping him get it.<\/span> <span>And he increased his own awareness so that he could track his actions and place them in his diary.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">When Oren does another 360-degree assessment, day in and day out.&nbsp; He realized that with the feedback he received from people he worked outside of, he increased both his own awareness and conflict management skills, and indirectly, morale, motivation and sales all increased.<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"An-Integrated-Approach-to-Developing-Emotional-Intelligence-EQ\"><\/span>An Integrated Approach to Developing Emotional Intelligence (EQ)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">Today&nbsp; there are many Emotional Intelligence programs; This area has turned into a mini-industry. <b>Big question:<\/b> &#8220;A&nbsp; EQ&nbsp; your competence&nbsp; What&#8217;s the best way to upgrade?&#8221;<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">I am not very keen on offering information-only programs as a way to develop these competencies. These programs &#8211; and my talks &#8211; can be motivational and elevate your mindset. This may be just the beginning.<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">But once you want to improve it means you need some help.<\/p>\n<p>treats everyone the same&nbsp; I have my doubts about stereotypical EQ enhancement programs.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of EQ competencies of all of us&nbsp; have a unique personal profile, some may be stronger while others may be weak.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, stereotypical programs would be beyond our goals.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">The best approach I&#8217;ve found is tailors help with a particular person&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<p>We all have our own goals, motives, and motivations; our passions and what we love to do.<\/p>\n<p>To use and purposefully use this energizing energy, EQ&nbsp; maximize its development. <\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">Regardless, working with a coach will make the most impact. Coaching persists in EQ competencies&nbsp; There are several reasons why improvements are helpful:<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">1. It means we don&#8217;t know what we don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>A&nbsp; The coach helps us see things we can&#8217;t see clearly and can also help us learn to be self-aware of practices such as recognizing triggers and emotions in our daily interactions.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">2. A coach may remind us to keep practicing and trying new mental models and courses of action outside of our habitual patterns.<\/p>\n<p>We can expand our repertoire.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">3. A coach can help us realize when our mindset and actions are not aligned with our aspirations and how we can take a path so that our thoughts and beliefs can move well towards our goals.<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">4. You can have the best development plan in the world that you understand with mental clarity, but if our beliefs or habits overwhelm the tactics and plans we have, then we are stuck. A coach can show you how to &#8220;end&#8221; habits that don&#8217;t work.<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">5. High&nbsp; When you go back to your old style of acting on stressful days &#8211; what you&#8217;re trying to change &#8211; a coach can make sure you don&#8217;t give up. Instead, you can use a failure for better mental preparation to do the right thing next time.<\/div>\n<div class=\"line nText\">6.
