In the speech of Warren Buffet, one of the richest people in the world, at the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway, of which he is the CEO, it was time for the Q&A session with the participants.<\/div>\n
Among the attendees was Justin Fong, 14, from California, who asked Buffet a non-investing question that baffled him:<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat advice would you give a teenager my age to be successful?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Warren Buffet’s answer may not be right for everyone, but it was guiding a teenager. In fact, looking deeper, it will be especially beneficial for business and career development for people of all ages, no matter what stage of life they are at.<\/div>\n

\u201cHang out with people who are better than you, and when you choose friends whose behavior is better than yours, you will gradually progress towards getting better.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Charlie Munger, a longtime business partner of Warren Buffet and vice president of Berkshire Hathaway, added:<\/div>\n

“If that gives you temporary popularity with your peers, forget it.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
